Activities

Each Saturday during the Summer Institutes (on the Saturday between the first and second week of the Summer Institutes Middle School Program), students are taken by chartered bus on excursions to points of cultural, historical, or recreational interest in the San Francisco Bay Area. Examples of excursions from past years include:

• The Exploratorium (a science museum) in San Francisco, stopping at historic Crissy Field.
• Capitola, a picturesque Northern California beach town.
• The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in San Francisco.

EPGY provides transportation, lunch, and entrance fees on its field trips.
