The EPGY Summer Institutes are three-week and four-week residential summer programs on the Stanford University campus for academically talented and motivated high-school students. The Summer Institutes provide an opportunity for these students to enrich and accelerate their academic pursuits and to share this experience with others who have similar interests and abilities. Participants in past years have come from over 30 countries and over 45 states. The program has consistently received high reviews, and every student leaves with a sense of academic accomplishment, new friends, and fond memories of a wonderful time spent at Stanford University.
Students in the EPGY Summer Institutes live in supervised Stanford housing, and they are taught by Stanford instructors. Courses in mathematics, science, writing, humanities, computer science, engineering, and music cover topics not typically available in high school.

EPGY Summer Institutes are for students in grades 8-11. If you are student in grades 6-8 you may be interested in the Middle School Program. Students currently in grade 8 may apply for either or both programs.
