This document will explain how to use the EPGY course work geometry interface buttom by buttom.
For each buttom, we will include:
The instruction in class work or the purpose, e.g. ¡§del¡¨, ¡§redo¡¨, ¡§undo¡¨,¡K
The original picture
The sequence of clicking bottoms
The final picture
Notice: The aim of this document is to
explain how to use the interface, but not showing the answer of how to do the
course work. Students may need to read the requirements in the question
carefully, e.g. in A below you must SELECT the segment
you have drawn to provide the answer. If not, you have only drawn the segment
but fail to provide the answer.
There are 7
buttoms for constructing figures.
The buttoms are shown below:

Use of these 7 buttoms will be explained in the next 7 sections.
¡§Draw a line through points A and F¡¨

¡§Choose a new point where AD and BC intersect¡¨

¡§Draw a line through points A and F. Select the line you drew to answer¡¨

"Find the midpoint of segment AB"

Double the line segment in the direction of A.

"Construct a line perpendicular to segment AF at A."

Draw a
segment at B which is congruent to AF and towards the direction D

There are 4
buttoms for editing figures.
The buttoms are shown below:
Use of these 4 buttoms will be explained in
the next 4 sections.
To delete
the previous step.

Clear all you have drawn
Suppose you have draw three things: 1) a segment AD, 2) a point G and 3) a line BE

If you have drawn the something, but press
¡¥undo¡¦ or ¡¥delete¡¦ wrongly, and
want to draw (redo) again.
