Tuition Fees
The courses in the EPGY pre-University level mathematics, computer science and introductory
physics sequences are billed on a per-quarter rather than a
per-course basis. This means that the tuition does not cover the costs
of a course per se, but rather covers a unit of time, usually
one quarter (3 months). During this time, students may cover as much
material in the mathematics curriculum (through Calculus C) as they
can. If a student completes a course mid-quarter, we will register the
student and send the materials for the subsequent course at no
additional tuition charge (although registration and shipping fees
will be charged whenever a student begins a new course). Students who
have not completed a course by the end of a quarter may pay tuition
for an additional quarter, or an amount of time appropriate for the
student to finish a course.
The tuition fees for university-level mathematics and the physics and
writing courses, on the other hand, cover the entire tuition fees for
those courses, regardless of the time it takes a student to complete
them.
