InfoKids admits precollege students of all nationalities and grade levels residing in Hong Kong into the Education Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY). Admission to EPGY is handled on a rolling basis; applications are accepted at all times of the year and decisions are generally made within two weeks of receipt of application materials and sitting the EPGY Aptitude Test. Once admitted, students meeting the registration deadlines may begin courses on prescribed dates. Applications must be received in our office at least one month prior to the planned course starting date to ensure the timely arrival of registration materials.

To be admitted into either the English or the Mathematics/Physics program, students must submit the documents listed below for their age category. All standardized tests must have been taken within two years of the date of the application. Achievement and aptitude tests other than those specifically listed below may be accepted as qualifying tests pending approval of the EPGY Admissions Committee. (For a guide to the abbreviations used here for the names of standardized tests, see the table at the end of this document.)
Once admitted, students are free to register for any course in that program,
subject to the prerequisites of each course or consent of the instructor.
Students admitted to one program only will be given the opportunity to take
courses in the other program upon request, although submission of additional
documentation may be required in some cases.

Additionally, students applying to advanced AP and university-level courses in mathematics may submit the results of the AB or BC Calculus, or Physics B or C AP tests, or equally relevant material for admission to the program.
Students are normally required to present evidence that they have fulfilled the following requirements before registering for these courses:
Students with evidence of unusual ability with respect to the general EPGY class of students may not be required to fulfill these prerequisites. Such students should present this evidence at the time of course registration.
