  1. award students achieving "distinction" or "high distinction" with certificates in recognition of their outstanding achievements
  2. help students, parents and schools better understand the individual student’s abilities in mathematics or English Writing.  Students who score within the top 5% of their grades may feel that they are “the best learners” within their school community. The Talent Search gives these students a chance to take the Stanford Aptitude Test designed for more senior grade students in order to bring the very best out these top students.
  3. reveal more about their abilities by providing an analysis report on the student’s performance. The report is to be generated by Stanford University EPGY.
  4. compare the student’s results with other equally highly able students in the same age group in Hong Kong and around the world.
  5. recommend options and opportunities in Stanford University EPGY programs in Hong Kong in mathematics, expository writing, physics or programming during normal school terms or at Stanford University during the summer
